The Slippery Rock University football team had three players named to All-America honors Wednesday. Defensive lineman Todd Hill received First Team honors from the Associated Press. Offensive lineman Joe Cooper and defensive back Josh Stokes were named to the AP Second Team. It was also announced Todd Hill finished third overall in the voting for the Gene Upshaw Division II Lineman of the Year.
The Rock’s season ended last week in Michigan following a 48-38 loss in that national semifinals to Ferris State.
