There were 29 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Thursday.
That’s actually the second consecutive day of 29 new cases.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 13 patients for the coronavirus, with four COVID patients in the ICU. Hospital officials also noted that a majority of hospitalized patients have not been vaccinated.
Statewide, Thursday also marked another day where new cases were less than 3,000. There were 57 additional deaths and statewide hospitalization numbers remain at just above 2,100.
