There were 77 new cases of COVID-19 and five additional deaths for Butler County Thursday.
That now brings the death toll to 322 for the county since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 31 patients for the coronavirus, with five COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide, there were 6,036 new cases and 198 additional deaths. Hospitalizations are trending downward as well, according to the latest state Department of Health report; just over 3,700 patients are being treated for the coronavirus.
