Two new cases of COVID-19 were announced Thursday for Butler County.
That takes the case count to 199.
About 900 new cases were announced statewide—which marks the fourth straight day of under 1,000 new cases.
There are now over 59,000 positive cases and more than 250,000 negative tests.
But, the state death toll officially surpassed 4,000. The state department of health says 44 new deaths happened overnight and that 231 new deaths were added to the total after data reconciliation.
As of Wednesday, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating two patients for COVID-19, with no one in the ICU.
