The federal judge presiding over the lawsuit filed by Butler County against Governor Tom Wolf has set out a timeline for the proceedings.
The first upcoming date of note will be this Friday, which is the deadline for the defendants, which include PA Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine, to file their answer to the complaint.
Friday is also the date by which the plaintiffs in the case must submit their initial disclosures. The defense has until next Friday, June 12th to serve their initial disclosures. The next step after that is the filing of discovery requests.
The next deadline after that is July 9th for the filing of direct testimony documents and pre-hearing briefs. A Declaratory Judgment Hearing will then take place July 17th at 9:30 a.m. either electronically or in-person.
