While residents enjoying fireworks tonight, our furry friends may not have the same experience.
As many take in the sights and sounds of Fourth of July fireworks, those same sounds can have a negative impact on your dogs.
The American Kennel Club says nearly half of the dog population can have traumatic experiences from fireworks.
They encourage dog owners to keep their pets in a safe, secured space during a fireworks show. Also, make sure they’re properly tagged in case of an emergency. And finally, give them comfort during the firework festivities.
