The National Weather Service says that a tornado did touch down near the Butler-Allegheny County line on Monday.
It registered as an EF0—which is the weakest on the measurement scale.
Meteorologists say the damage happened near Mt. Pleasant Road and worked east at 2:52 p.m. Most of the damage was confined to trees.
Wind speeds reached as high as 70 miles per hour.
