The National Weather Service is confirming that a tornado touched down in Beaver County over the weekend.
The NWS surveyed along Pleasant Hills Road near Racoon Creek State Park after the strong storms Saturday.
Officials rated the brief spin-up tornado from an isolated supercell thunderstorm as an EF-0 with maximum wind speeds of 70-80 miles per hour.
No property damage was found.
