Local business and community leaders gathered in Harmony last night to celebrate the tourism industry in Butler County.
The annual “Toast to Tourism” dinner by the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau was hosted at the Steamfitters facility.
Nine different organizations were awarded grants up to $5,000 from the tourism bureau’s foundation.
Michael Hall, who is the owner of the General Rental Center, was named as the 2023 Tourism Ambassador of the Year. BC3 food management student Nathanael Archer was announced as the winner of the tourism scholarship.
The Toast to Tourism dinner is held each year during National Travel and Tourism Week.
