The Pennsylvania Turnpike has reopened after an accident involving a tractor trailer Tuesday morning.
Our partners at WPXI-TV say the crash happened around 9 a.m. on the Beaver Ridge Bridge when a tractor trailer hit a bridge and caught fire.
The turnpike was closed in both directions between the Cranberry and Beaver Valley exits for over four hours while inspectors made sure the bridge is safe.
It’s unclear if anyone was injured as a result of this incident.
