State police were led on a chase on I-79 in Mercer County following a traffic stop on July 2, 2017.
During the stop, 25-year-old Jacob Rodriguez of Erie, PA provided police with false information regarding his identity and then fled the scene due to warrants being out for his arrest. Following the vehicle and then foot pursuit, Rodriguez was apprehended and taken into custody.
He is facing charges for fleeing and alluding, resisting arrest, driving under the influence of controlled substances, felony warrants and multiple vehicle code violations.
