A train derailment in northern Butler County late last week caused delays for drivers.
According to our news partners at WPXI, a Canadian National train had around 25 cars carrying iron pellets derail Thursday evening near Branchton. The derailment caused Branchton Road to be shut down for about an hour and a half, causing traffic delays in the area.
Crews began repair work Thursday night and continued into Friday.
