Pennsylvania Treasurer Stacy Garrity says the fee waiver will be in place for another year.
The fee waiver covers asset-based fees for families that use the PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan.
So those who used GSP to save money, will not see any quarterly fees on their statements. It’s estimated this allows for $22 million in savings every year.
The PA 529 plan can be used to further education in at high education institution, qualifying technical school, apprenticeship, and kindergarten through twelfth grade education.
