The man responsible for the Tree of Life Synagogue shooting is seeking a resentencing.
Attorneys for Robert Bowers filed an appeal, arguing that the court improperly excluded some jurors and shackled Bowers part-way through the trial.
Attorneys say it created prejudice among the jury.
Bowers was found guilty two years ago for shooting and killing 11 people in the Tree of Life Synagogue in 2018.
A jury found Bowers eligible for the death penalty.
He’s currently in a federal prison in the state of Indiana.
