Truex, Jr’s car owner to miss finale after heart surgery

Furniture Row Racing team owner Barney Visser is recovering from bypass surgery after suffering a heart attack on November 4th. Due to the recommended recovery period, he’s missing the final two race of the 2017 Monster Energy Series. Martin Truex Junior drives for Visser, and is among the four contenders for the championship and a favorite to claim the crown after earning the Number-1 post-season seed and collecting a series-high seven wins thus far.
