Ten new cases of COVID-19 were reported for Butler County today.
Although today marks the first time with a double digit case count since last Tuesday, overall the positivity rate for the county has declined over the last seven days.
The state reports Butler County’s positivity rate as 2.9 percent over the last week, which is down from 4.6 percent from the previous seven days.
Statewide, there were 854 new cases, 23 additional deaths, along with over 14,000 negative tests.
As of Monday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital is treating three patients for the coronavirus, with two in the ICU.
Hospital officials also say they reported an additional death to the Department of Health on Sunday. But the number of deaths for the county was still listed at 15 according to the coronavirus dashboard.
