Two Butler County Community College students will be receiving full scholarships to state universities.
Molly Milich of West Sunbury and Sennett Purcell of Cabot were selected to Phi Theta Kappa’s all-Pennsylvania academic team, which qualifies them to a full-scholarship to a PASSHE school.
Milich is a English and history student and is planning on transferring to Slippery Rock University. Purcell is a Knoch graduate and a psychology student that may also attend SRU upon her graduation from BC3.
“This is a huge honor,” said Torey O’Donnell, BC3’s associate director of student life and one of three college administrators who serve as a Rho Phi co-adviser.
“Molly and Sennett are great students and definitely deserving of this recognition. It showcases their character, their dedication to academics and their dedication to BC3,” O’Donnell said.
