A man and woman have been charged with a breaking into two Butler City homes late last week.
On Thursday, police were called to a home on the 200 block of East Walnut Street for two people breaking into a home.
When police arrived on scene, 19-year-old Savannah Rogers of Butler went in-and-out of the house. She eventually came out after being ordered by police.
Police then went into the home and found 28-year-old Jonathan Tacey of Parker hiding in the basement.
A backpack was found on scene that identified another victim from a home on the 200 block of East Brady Street. Inside was various video game items including, games, a controller, and more.
Both have been charged with two counts of burglary and similarly related charges. Rogers is being held on $65,000 in the Butler County Prison while Tacey is being held on $45,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing for both has been set for October 20.
