Police have provided more information on a crash last week that sent two people to the hospital.
The three-car accident happened last Wednesday evening on Evans City Road in Forward Township.
A vehicle driven by 48-year-old Marilynn Cosme of Renfrew came to a stop because a car in front of her was about to make a turn. 29-year-old Laura White of Evans City was driving behind Cosme and did not see her come to a stop until the last second.
She swerved out of the way but still hit Cosme’s vehicle, sending her into the oncoming lane where she hit another vehicle.
White was taken to a Wexford area hospital, while Cosme was taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
A three-year-old in White’s vehicle was not hurt.
