A developer is considering construction of two small housing developments in Butler Township.
Ed Tanner spoke with the Butler Township Planning Commission at their Tuesday night meeting about a Summer Lake development that he is considering along Saxonburg Road near the intersection with Bullcreek Road. This would include six single family dwellings each on a lot of an acre and a half to two acres.
The Summer Wind development would consist of three single family residences on three lots of approximately an acre each along Old Plank Road near Hampton Court. While the Summer Lake plan is on land currently zoned agricultural, the land proposed for Summer Wind is zoned residential but does have driveway and stormwater questions.
No applications have been made for either of these proposed developments yet with additional work necessary with Township employees before the Commission would consider granting a recommendation.
