One person was flown to the hospital and another taken by ambulance after an accident last night on I-79.
The one vehicle crash happened around 8:15 p.m. near milemarker 95—which is near the Portersville/Prospect exit.
Dispatchers say one woman was ejected from the car, and the driver was found hanging out of the door.
Crews shut down the southbound lane of I-79 so a medical helicopter could take the woman to a Pittsburgh trauma center. The driver was taken by ambulance.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
