There are still some residents cleaning up from last week’s storm damage, a part of eight confirmed tornadoes in Western Pennsylvania.
The National Weather Service says there were two tornadoes that hit Butler County last Thursday night. The first began in the Homeacre-Lyndora area before ending in East Butler. They say winds reached speeds of 80 miles per hour.
The second tornado began in Beaver County before touching down in Harmony—it was reported as an EF1 tornado with winds gusts as high as 90 miles per hour.
