A new report is showing the economic impact of the U.S. Open.
The USGA says that the U.S. Open at Oakmont earlier this summer generated nearly $289 million in total economic impact in the state.
Visitor spending accounted for $111 million in impact.
The U.S. Women’s Open comes to Oakmont in 2028. The next men’s championship is 2033.
