UPMC is reporting another significant operating loss over the last nine months.
The Pittsburgh-based healthcare organization reported $371 million in operating loss from January through September. That’s $177 million more compared to last year.
Although UPMC saw increasing operating revenues, the hospital pointed to increased medical utilization and higher pharmacy costs.
