The USFL began its player draft last night. The Michigan Panthers selected former University of Michigan quarterback Shea Patterson with the top overall pick. The Pittsburgh Maulers selected former Richmond quarterback Kyle Lauletta. The Maulers selected Michigan defensive end Carlo Kemp with the second selection. The 35-round inaugural draft continues today.
