The VA is hosting an event later this week that will recognize veterans of the Vietnam War.
This Friday, the Abie Abraham VA is hosting a Vietnam Veteran Recognition event. It runs from 10 a.m. to noon and will present Vietnam vets a commemorative pin and a chance to meet with other vets. Family of veterans are also welcomed to attend.
The VA says there will also be commemorative Vietnam Veteran lapel pins available at the VA outpatient clinics in Cranberry, along with their locations in Armstrong, Clarion, and Lawrence counties.
