There is still time for local women veterans to join in a free event at the Butler VA Health Care System planned for later this week.
A Heart Health Month event will take place Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the first-floor lobby of the Abie Abraham Health Care Center.
The Women’s Health Program and the Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Program will provide information on heart health, how symptoms of stroke differ from a heart attack, and blood pressure screenings.
Veterans interested in participating in this activity are asked to RSVP by calling 878-271-6989. Visit the VA website for more information.
