An event this coming week will get veterans out and moving as part of a benefit for VA members.
The 16th annual 2K Walk and Roll will kick off rain or shine Tuesday from 1:30 to 3 p.m. at the Cranberry Township VA outpatient clinic.
The event continues Wednesday at the Abie Abraham campus from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. while the New Castle Road walk starts at 1:30 p.m. and wraps up around 3:30 p.m.
This event encourages Veterans and staff to adopt healthier lifestyles in order to reduce preventable injuries and illnesses. Donations of nonperishable food, clothing, and personal care items will also be accepted for the Homeless Veterans Program.
