A man is facing charges after being accused of assaulting a woman at a bon fire in Valencia Borough.
On Saturday police were called to the 50 block of Crossvale Street for disturbance that had allegedly turned physical.
The victim told police 36-year-old Matthew Lange of Valencia groped her after making inappropriate comments earlier in the day.
According to charging documents, the victim claimed that Lange made several sexual remarks to her at a Sheetz before heading to the bon fire.
During the bon fire, Lange is accused of groping the victim. She told him to stop, but that’s when he allegedly grabbed her harder.
Lange has been charged with indecent assault and has been placed in the Butler County Prison on $10,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 29.
