A Valencia man is facing charges after he allegedly assaulted a woman, who then fled the state.
On Saturday, the victim reported to Middlesex Township Police that 41-year-old Andrew Graf assaulted her.
Police say the victim was in Alabama when she called police. She explained that Graf slammed her into a trash can, kitchen stool, then strangled the victim to the point she thought she was going to die.
After the assault, the victim left the state and fled to Alabama.
Graf has been charged with strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. He was placed in the Butler County Prison on $100,000 bond and a preliminary hearing has been scheduled for April 21.
