After the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump at the Butler Farm Show is still on scheduled to kick off on time.
Ken Metrick sits on the Board of Directors for the Farm show and says preparation for the Farm Show started well before the scheduled Trump Rally.
But now they are putting the final touches on the grounds as vendors begin to arrive.
“On the grounds we’ve been working. Vendors are moving in,” Metrick said. “So everything’s a go. The Farm Show family and the community has pulled together and it’s going to happen.”
This will be the 76th year for the farm show which started in 1948 as a plowing contest. The gates open August 5th and the show will run into the 10th.
