Flu season is fast approaching and VA Butler Healthcare is offering help to local veterans.
A series of Flu Vaccination Clinics begins Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Castle Road facility. An appointment is not required but this is a drive-through clinic with signs directing traffic.
Veterans can receive a flu vaccine from their VA provider, or vets not enrolled will be covered if they bring a copy of their military discharge. Non-veterans including spouses and dependents are not eligible for a flu shot from the Butler VA.
Flu shots will also be offered at other regional VA Clinic locations including the Cranberry Township VA Clinic. Visit the Butler VA website for more information.
