Villanova head basketball coach Jay Wright has announced his retirement. Wright has guided the Wildcats to four Final Four Appearances. Over his 21 seasons at Villanova, he compiled a 520-197 overall record. Wright was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame last September.
Kyle Neptune will return to Villanova to take over the head coaching position. Neptune was an assistant under Wright, but left to take the head coaching position at Fordham in 2021.
