Local residents are being asked to join in an effort to save lives for National Blood Donor Month.
The first of several local Vitalant blood drives is planned for Friday from 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Free Methodist Church 2339 Freeport Rd. in Kittanning.
Another Vitalant drive will take place Thursday from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Zion Methodist Community Church – Family Life Center.
Vitalant is offering all donors who give blood and opt into their Donor Rewards Program and all who donate will receive a $15 gift card and a 90’s-themed t-shirt.
They will also be entered into a chance to win one of three $10,000 gift cards.
