Local residents and families are invited to attend a free event this weekend to remember those who have passed on.
The annual Lutheran Senior Life VNA Beyond Memories Community Celebration of Life and Butterfly Release is planned for Sunday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. rain or shine at the Butler Fairgrounds with butterfly distribution beginning at 12:30 p.m.
The service will include musical presentations, poems, and the reading of the names of those being remembered.
Those planning to attend are asked to use the Unionville Road East entrance to the Fairgrounds. Signs will be posted. Visit the Lutheran Senior Life website for more information.
