Voter turnout for this year’s Municipal Election was a significant improvement compared to four years ago.
According to numbers from the Butler County Bureau of Election, more than 42 percent of voters cast a ballot in this year’s election. That works out to over 60,000 voters out of the 142,370 voters who are registered in the county.
In 2021, voter turnout was at 33 percent.
Butler County has also added nearly 15,000 registered voters during that four-year span.
