After the Butler County Court of Common Pleas ruled against two Butler County voters, they are looking to move forward with their challenges in court.
Two voters that had their mail-in ballots rejected by Butler County’s Board of Elections after not placing them in the secrecy envelope. Those two voters tried to cast a ballot provisionally, but those ballots were also rejected.
The board of elections argued they did not have a policy in place that would allow voters to cure a ballot without a secrecy envelope or to vote provisionally.
With the aid of the ACLU the two voters are now appealing the decision to Commonwealth Court.
