Election officials throughout Pennsylvania will now be required to alert voters if their ballot was filed out incorrectly after 4-3 state Supreme Court decision.
Previously, every county could decide on how to handle incorrectly filled out mail-in ballots, including not informing the voter of the error.
In the 2024 election over 8,500 ballots were rejected due to errors.
