With the bitter cold temperatures upon us, Butler City officials are reminding residents of warming centers so they can get out of the cold.
The Grapevine Center on North Elm Street in the city is open seven-days-a-week from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. They offer a chance to warm up, get a coffee, shower, and more.
Meanwhile, the Glade Run warming center is held at the Grace Wellness Center on the Diamond in Butler City.
Their hours run from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. every day. Vouchers are required for entry, which can be found at either Catholic Charities or the Center for Community Resources.
