The Washington Trail 1753 organization is working to get national recognition for the former president’s journey through Butler County.
With the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday approaching, the Washington’s Trail 1753 organization is pushing for the route to be recognized as a National Historic Trail.
The organization says this trail that runs through Butler County is a crucial part of our country’s history.
Congressman Mike Kelly and Senator John Fetterman are attempting to move the process forward.
