Residents of a couple of mobile home parks in the county have been dealing with water issues.
Our newsroom spoke with a resident of the Pine Valley Park in Harmony, who said he went four days in a row without water last week.
Water issues have also been a problem at Bernie’s Trailer Park in Winfield Township and Rolling Valley Estates in Connoquenessing.
These parks are all under the management of Stackhouse Properties, which has its headquarters in North Carolina. The state DEP says they met with Stackhouse leaders about the various issues plaguing the local mobile home parks. The DEP requested a corrective action plan by the end of this week.
We reached out for comment from Stackhouse, but have not heard back.
