A water tower in Butler Township is set for rehabilitation.
Pennsylvania American Water announced they are updating seven storage tanks in their coverage area, including one in Butler.
The 250,000 gallon tank is located on West View Drive, which is in the Homeacre neighborhood.
The cost of the project is $630,000 and will include “abrasive blasting and applying paint to both the exterior and interior.” There will also be structural support evaluation and rehabilitation.
Work is expected to wrap up by the end of July.
