A Cranberry Township group is holding an event focused on wealth inequality later this week.
The township Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity Advisory team is inviting residents to a wealth-gap learning simulation and discussion at the Township municipal building Senior Center from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday.
The goal of the event is to promote understanding of the connection between racial equity, hunger, poverty, and wealth as well as how a greater focus on equity can help to end hunger and poverty in the U.S.
