Webb Simpson won the RBC Heritage golf tournament on Sunday in Hilton Head, South Carolina with a record-setting finish. Simpson won by one shot, running off five birdies in a six-hole stretch on the back nine. He finished at 22-under 264 to best the tournament record set in 2009 by two strokes. The tournament finished after a three-hour storm delay at Harbour Town Golf Links. The event was the PGA Tour’s second tournament back after its three-month coronavirus suspension.
