There were 188 new cases of COVID-19 and six additional deaths for Butler County Wednesday.
That now brings the death toll due to COVID in the county to 185.
The daily report also comes with 276 negative test results according to the Department of Health.
As of Wednesday morning, there were 65 patients being treated for the coronavirus at Butler Memorial Hospital, with seven COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide, there were just under 9,000 new cases today and 319 additional deaths.
Governor Tom Wolf and Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine are scheduled to provide an update about the pandemic Wednesday at 1 p.m.
