There were 35 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Wednesday.
That now brings the running total number of cases over 14,000 since the beginning of the pandemic.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating seven patients for the coronavirus which is an increase of one compared to Monday, while one COVID patient is being treated in the ICU, a decrease of two compared to Monday. The Butler Health System did report two deaths to the state on Monday.
Statewide, there were 2,612 new cases and 69 additional deaths. State health officials also say more than 2.5 million shots of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered so far.
