There were 79 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths for Butler County Wednesday.
Hospitalizations are also on the rise statewide, as there are now more than 2,000 patients being treated for COVID-19. Locally, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 14 patients for the coronavirus as of Wednesday, with five COVID patients in the ICU.
Statewide, there were 4,557 new cases and 44 additional deaths.
