The state Department of Health has reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 for Butler County Wednesday. That brings the total to 695 for the county.
Over the past day 400 negative tests were also reported resulting in a positivity rate of just over four percent for Butler County. The state is reporting that 16 Butler County residents have died as a result of COVID-19.
Statewide, there were 849 additional positive cases, bringing the statewide total to 121,130 with 33 additional deaths.
According to the Butler Health System, as of Wednesday morning three patients were being treated for coronavirus at Butler Memorial Hospital with one in the ICU.
