There were 166 new cases of COVID-19 and nine additional deaths reported by the state for Butler County on Wednesday.
That now brings the death toll in the county to 265 since the beginning of the pandemic ten months ago.
As of Wednesday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 36 patients for the coronavirus, which is six less than Monday. The number of ICU patients decreased from 10 to 9 over the same time. The Butler Health System reported one death to the state on Monday and two more on Tuesday.
Statewide there were nearly 8,000 new cases and 349 additional deaths, along with over 13,000 negative test results.
