There were 61 new cases of COVID-19 and no additional deaths over the weekend for Butler County.
Statewide, there were just over 3,600 new cases over the past two days, along with 49 additional deaths.
Local hospitalizations did increase over the course of last week however. As of Friday morning, Butler Memorial Hospital was treating 15 patients for the coronavirus, with four COVID patients in the ICU.
Meanwhile, statewide hospitalizations continue to decline. For the first time since early April, there are now fewer than 2,000 people being treated for COVID in Pennsylvania.
